Abraysports begin AMAPRO Soccer Championship title defense against WonderXchange

Defending champions, Abraysports FC, will kick off their title defense in the AMAPRO Football Championship against debutants WonderXchange Football Club from Ondo State on Monday.


The championship, which will feature 16 teams, has been divided into four groups of four teams each.


In the fixtures released by the organizers after the draws, Abraysports, who defeated Kwara Football Academy (KFA) in last year's final, will start the championship at Pitch A of KFA at 8am. Simultaneously, regular participants Gateway FA from Ekiti State and Laycon FA from Offa will face off at Pitch B at 8am.


Also on Monday at 10am, House of Prayer Football Academy will play against NNL All Stars at Pitch A, while Da Faria Sporting Club will take on Ibadan City SC.


The action continues at 2pm on the opening day at both Pitches A and B of KFA, with AMAPRO SSA battling Kasam FA for match points, and Taiwo Awoniyi's Unicorn FC facing Dickalo FA.


Matchday 1 will conclude with two games: NPFL All Stars versus HMK FC at Pitch A, and KFA against Terwoh Sporting Club from Kaduna State at Pitch B.


The tournament will conclude on Sunday, July 7th, at the Main Bowl of Kwara State Stadium Complex.
