2024/2025 NNL Season: Gombe United FC part ways with coach Nkiyu

The management of Nigeria National League (NNL) side Gombe United FC announced on Monday the dismissal of its head coach, Bala Nkiyu.


The Savannah Scorpions' management stated that the termination was by mutual consent.


"The management of Gombe United FC wishes to inform the public that it has parted ways with its Technical Adviser, Bala Nkiyu, by mutual consent.


"The management of the club wishes Coach Bala Nkiyu all the best in his future endeavors and appreciates the efforts he made during his time with the Savannah Scorpions.


"We are currently working around the clock to find the best possible candidate to replace the Technical Adviser in the coming days as we continue to intensify preparations for the second half of the season."
