Top on the list of the fresh legs that have been signed by Ekiti United FC to prosecute the fast-approaching NNL season is an ex-international footballer, Kunle Odunlami who played for Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the CHAN 2014 tournament in South Africa before joining some Nigerian Premier League clubs like Sunshine Stars of Akure and Rivers United had also played for El-Merreikh FC of Sudan.

All the players both old and new expressed determination to be part of the history-chasing squad that will break the promotion jinx.
In the same vein, the players who all officially signed their contract papers at the Club secretariat thanked the State government for the improved welfare packages and salaries with the assurance that they will give their utmost best to the team in the 2023/24 season.
Part of management’s efforts aimed at boosting the morale of the players and the officials include the provision of a conducive hostel accommodation as well as mattresses and pillows among other facilities in preparation for the season.
The team is expected to move into close camping next Monday while training continues regularly before the NNL kickoff on October 28.
