The U.S. gymnastics team reclaimed their top position in Paris, winning gold three years after settling for silver in Tokyo.
 
A surprising yet significant contributor to their success was Beacon, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever who served as an emotional support dog during the team's training and competitions.
 
His presence is part of a broader mental health initiative by USA Gymnastics, which also includes mindfulness sessions and therapy teams.
