Nigeria Customs qualify to last Four in Continental Women Basketball Qualifiers

Nigeria Customs have qualified for the semifinals of the FIBA Africa Women Basketball League Zone 3 Qualifying 2024 in Liberia after securing a 66-59 win over SOA of Côte d'Ivoire, marking their second consecutive victory. They are now assured of a place in the final four with a game remaining.


Customs will face Commissioners of Liberia in their final group match, which will determine their final position in the standings. The team is set to build on their solid performance to close the group stage.


Meanwhile, Nigeria's other team, Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM), suffered a surprising 53-66 defeat to Friends Basketball Association (FBA) of Côte d'Ivoire. MFM now has a 1-1 win-loss record and will await their fate in Group A after the final pool game between FBA and Energie of Benin Republic.
