Mathieu van der Poel finished the cyclo-cross World Cup with two victories, winning in Hoogerheide and Maasmechelen, and showed his recovery from a recent rib injury.
The reigning world champion dominated the final race on Sunday, leading from the start to win by 1 minute 42 seconds.
Van der Poel's performance solidified his position as the favorite for the upcoming cyclo-cross world championships in France.
With seven World Cup wins this season, he is now aiming to match Eric De Vlaeminck's record of seven world titles.
