LIV Golf Expands to Japan with New International Series Event

LIV Golf will host its first event in Japan with the International Series Japan, a $2 million tournament set for May 8-11 at Caledonian Golf Club in Chiba, following its debut event in South Korea.

 
 Asian Tour chief Cho Minn Thant emphasized Japan's significance in global golf and expressed confidence in the event's ability to attract a worldwide audience.

 
Meanwhile, LIV Golf remains in extended negotiations with the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund to unify the sport after its controversial split.
