Line judges will be entirely replaced by technology - ATP

The ATP Tour is replacing human line judges with an electronic calling system to improve accuracy and consistency

Beginning in 2025, an electronic calling system will completely replace human line judges on the ATP Tour.

The move, according to the ATP, the men's sport's governing body, would "optimize accuracy and consistency" in competitions.

Human line judges have already been eliminated from certain competitions, including the majors at the Australian Open and US Open.
