Iga Swiatek Withdraws from China Open Citing Personal Reasons

Swiatek out of Beijing due to 'personal matters' - Tennis Majors
 
World number one Iga Swiatek has withdrawn from the China Open for personal reasons, expressing regret over her decision.
 

The five-time Grand Slam champion, who won the tournament last year, cited previous withdrawals from the Canadian Open and Korea Open due to fatigue.
 

Swiatek stated that she was looking forward to returning to Beijing and apologized to fans for missing out on the event, which runs from September 25 to October 6.
