Brazilian amputee table tennis player Bruna Alexandre is making history as her country’s first para-athlete to compete in the Olympics, a dream she's pursued for over two decades.

At 29, Alexandre, who lost her right arm to thrombosis as an infant, has overcome significant challenges to reach this milestone, including perfecting a unique serving technique despite her one-arm condition.

Although she faced defeat in her Olympic debut against South Korean competitors, Alexandre remains optimistic and grateful, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating that success is achievable despite physical limitations.
