Aruna Quadri maintains position in new ITTF ranking

Despite reaching the Round of 16 at the WTT Frankfurt in Germany, Nigerian table tennis sensation Aruna Quadri has maintained his position in the latest ITTF ranking.
Quadri defeated Harimoto in the Round of 32, 3-2, before succumbing to the firepower of Ricardo Walter of Germany by the same scoreline.

The ITTF released the latest ranking on Wednesday morning, with Aruna remaining in 21st position with 1405 points. Egyptian star Omar Assar overtook him to place 20th with 1408 points.
Aruna will have the opportunity to improve his ranking when the tournament moves to Fukuoka, Japan, next week.
