Arsenal may acquire Victor Osimhen in the winter window

Recent reports suggest that Arsenal might target Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the upcoming winter transfer window. The Gunners were known to be on the lookout for a new forward during the summer transfer period, considering several potential candidates, including Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.


Despite their interest, Arsenal chose not to secure a new striker and instead focused on bolstering their attack with a season-long loan acquisition of Raheem Sterling from Chelsea on the transfer deadline day.


Chelsea had also shown strong interest in Osimhen, attempting to finalize a deal in the final hours of the transfer window. However, their efforts were unsuccessful, partly due to Osimhen’s deteriorating relationship with Napoli, which made it impossible for him to remain with the club.
