Manchester United to Cut Up to 200 More Jobs in Cost-Saving Overhaul

Manchester United plans to cut an additional 150-200 jobs as part of ongoing cost-cutting measures aimed at restoring profitability after five years of financial losses.
This follows last year’s removal of 250 positions, with the club’s restructuring efforts led by Jim Ratcliffe, who took a 25% stake and assumed control of soccer operations.
The cost-saving measures include relocating staff, reducing executive bonuses, and ending free lunches at Old Trafford, with a stronger focus on financial sustainability.
Despite initial excitement over Ratcliffe’s investment, fan enthusiasm has waned as the club struggles on the pitch, currently sitting 15th in the Premier League after finishing eighth last season.
