Australian PGA Championship Shortened to 54 Holes Due to Flooding

The Australian PGA Championship, the first event of the DP World Tour's 2025 season, was reduced to 54 holes after heavy rainfall caused flooding at the Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane.
PGA Tour of Australasia officials confirmed the change following a delay of more than five hours during the second round.
Despite the shortened format, a 36-hole cut will still be made, with play set to resume on Saturday, as Elvis Smylie leads after a 65 in the opening round, while Cameron Smith and Jason Day trail by two shots at four-under-par.
