Some of the world's highest-paid footballers in Saudi Arabia have received extravagant Christmas gifts from league bosses to express gratitude for their move to the Saudi professional league. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Angolo Kante, and Riyad Mahrez were gifted luxury cars such as Ferrari SF90 Spyder, Bugatti, and Lamborghini.
In addition to high-end vehicles, top stars received ultra-deluxe watches from Jacob and C Bugatti Chiron, priced at £300,000, and Chopard L.U.C Lunar models costing around £53,000. The festive treats also included orders for luxury bags from Yves Saint Laurent and Globe-Trotter suitcases worth £5,500.
The Saudi professional league, seeking to attract more superstars, demonstrated its commitment by providing expensive incentives to players and staff during the holiday season. A personal shopper with a budget of £3.1 million was tasked with ensuring everyone received lavish gifts upon their return from the holidays.
Some lucky recipients were granted vacation packages to exclusive destinations, including stays in presidential suites at prestigious hotels in Paris, private island getaways in the Maldives, and luxury holidays in London at The Ritz.
One of the offered vacation packages includes a week-long stay in one of the presidential suites at the Paris Four Seasons George V Hotel, costing approximately £15,000 per night. Another package features five nights at Le Bristol Hotel in Paris, specifically in the Suite Prestige Elysee, with a nightly rate of around £6,600. The players also received luxury holiday packages for destinations like the Maldives, Monaco, and London, ensuring a lavish and memorable Christmas for the football stars in the Saudi league.
