Abia Comets fall 1-0 to Supreme Kings Football Academy

Abia Comets Football Club of Umuahia suffered a 1-0 defeat to Supreme Kings Football Academy in a friendly game on Friday, as preparation continues ahead of 2023/24 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Abia Comets head coach, Kevin Ejeh selected fringe players, largely made up of new players who are on trial.
Players such as Nsikak Sunday, Emeka Maduka, Godwin Samuel, Prince Nwachukwu, Uche Franklin, John Ojukwu, Okorie Udochukwu, Jonathan Okoloko, Chinaita Eluwa, Ikenna Ogu and Ifeanyi Iroakazi, but it was the lower division side who went ahead inside 15 minute, when forward, Paul Pascal scored from close range to beat goalkeeper, Nsikak Sunday, to give Supreme Kings a 1-0 lead.
