WTT Contender Zagreb 2023 in Croatia showcases table tennis talent with qualifying matches and main draw

The WTT Series 2023 is set to continue with WTT Contender Zagreb 2023 in Croatia, promising an exciting display of table tennis talent. As the second edition of the event takes place in the capital city, fans can expect a thrilling showcase featuring renowned players.

The tournament will be held at Dom Sportova, with qualifying matches scheduled from June 26th to 28th, followed by the main draw from June 29th to July 2nd.
 
Participants will compete for a generous prize pool of $75,000 and 400 World Ranking points, adding further significance to the event. Notably, top-ranked players Sun Yingsha and Fan Zhendong will make their first appearance at a WTT Contender tournament in Zagreb.

Shin Yubin, the fifth seed, arrives in Croatia following consecutive appearances in the finals, triumphing in WTT Contender Lagos and narrowly missing out on the title in Tunis. Another player to watch out for is the talented 15-year-old Miwa Harimoto, who recently secured the Women's Singles title in WTT Contender Tunis, boasting an impressive 86% win rate this year.
