London rain postpones Wimbledon matches, causing scheduling challenges

Heavy rain in London caused numerous matches to be postponed at Wimbledon, leading to scheduling challenges for the organizers. Among the suspended matches were the encounter between Yannick Hanfmann of Germany and Taylor Fritz of the United States, currently tied at 2-2 in sets, as well as the match between Dominik Thiem of Austria and Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, with Thiem leading 3-6, 4-3.
Despite the rain disruptions, world number one Carlos Alcaraz managed to play and secured a convincing victory against Jérémie Chardy of France, winning 0-6, 2-6, 5-7. Additionally, veteran fan favorite Andy Murray advanced to the next round after defeating his British compatriot Ryan Peniston 3-6, 0-6, 1-6.
In the women's singles, reigning champion and world number three Jelena Rybakina faced a tough challenge but ultimately triumphed over Shelby Rogers of the United States, winning 4-6, 6-1, 2-6. Ons Jabeur of Tunisia also emerged victorious, defeating Magdalena Farah of Poland with a score of 3-6, 3-6.
