Carlos Alcaraz provided an intriguing glimpse into his thoughts and strategy as he aims for greater success in recent years.

The 2022 US Open champion, who just won the tournament at Indian Wells and has since reclaimed the top spot in the world rankings, admits that he is still a novice in his field but has his sights set on having another exceptional year.

Despite being only 19 years old, Carlos Alcaraz has already set his eyes on becoming one of tennis' greatest players.

Alcaraz says he has been motivated by the accomplishments despite suffering an injury at the beginning of the year after winning at Flushing Meadows enjoyed following their own absences from the tour by Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Following his victory at Indian Wells, Alcaraz plans to pursue other Masters 1000 and Grand Slam victories in 2023. He considers it an honor to serve as an example for younger players.
