Qihao in an interview after his victory conceaded that it was not easy to be the tournament's favourite.
"First of all, I'm very happy to get a victory here, because everybody works very hard to get this result.
"Playing against Dimitrij (fans' favourite) is not easy for me at all.
"Chinese are everywhere. When players go around the world, they get a lot of fans. All the Chinese people are very glad about this.
"For Dimitrij, Nigerians applauded and cheered him, but I'm lucky to win this competition," he said.
For Yu Bin from Republic of Korea, winner of the Women's Singles, the victory comes in a hard way.
