Carlos Alcaraz defeats Jiri Lehecka, advance to his first grass quarterfinal

Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, achieved a significant milestone in his career by reaching the quarter-finals at Queen's on grass.

The 20-year-old Spaniard displayed a dominant performance as he defeated his Czech opponent, Jiri Lehecka, in straight sets, with a final score of 6-2 6-3.

Despite being the US Open champion and a recent French Open semi-finalist, Alcaraz has only participated in three grass tournaments thus far. This is his first appearance at Queen's, having previously competed at Wimbledon in 2021 and 2022.
