Cameron Norrie lost to Sebastian Korda in Queen's, losing in tie-break

Cameron Norrie, the British number one, suffered a disappointing quarter-final defeat at Queen's against Sebastian Korda. Norrie made too many errors in the first set and struggled to find his rhythm.
Despite improving in the second set, he faltered in the tie-break, making poor shots and a double fault. Korda, ranked 32nd in the world, secured a comfortable victory and will face top seed Carlos Alcaraz in the next round.
Norrie, who reached the Wimbledon semi-finals last year, sees his performance as a positive step forward on grass despite the loss. He believes he has turned a corner after the clay court season and has had good preparation leading up to the tournament.
Although he acknowledges that it was not his best performance, Norrie feels he is improving and aims to regain his form in time for Wimbledon.
In the match against Korda, Norrie had opportunities to break but was unable to convert them as Korda's serve proved effective.
Norrie fought back to level the second set at 3-3 but could not maintain his momentum. Korda, making his Queen's debut, dominated the tie-break and advanced to the semi-finals.
For Korda, the victory holds great significance. He feels confident and comfortable on grass, stating that everything is clicking for him at the moment. In the men's doubles, Britain's Neal Skupski and his partner Wesley Koolhof lost in the semi-finals to Taylor Fritz and Jiri Lehecka.
The loss marks the end of Norrie's run at Queen's, but he remains optimistic about his progress and looks ahead to preparing for Wimbledon.
