Australian Nick Kyrgios withdraws from Wimbledon due to wrist injury and knee pain

Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis player, has withdrawn from Wimbledon due to a torn ligament in his wrist. Last year, Kyrgios reached the men's singles final at Wimbledon but lost to Novak Djokovic.
He has only played one tournament this year as he was recovering from a knee injury that required surgery. During his comeback, he experienced pain in his wrist and scans revealed the torn ligament.
Despite his efforts to be ready for Wimbledon, he did not have enough time to manage the injury before the tournament. Wimbledon expressed their wishes for his swift recovery and hopes to see him back on the courts next year.
Kyrgios was seeded 30th and was scheduled to face David Goffin in the opening round. This injury comes after a series of setbacks, including withdrawing from the Australian Open and undergoing surgery for a cyst in his meniscus.
