ATP Tour: Francisco Cerundolo defeats Cameron Norrie in the semifinal match in Lyon

In the semifinal match of the ATP Tour tournament in Lyon on Friday, British number one Cameron Norrie was defeated by Argentine Francisco Cerundolo 6-3, 6-0.
 
During the second set, Norrie frequently clutched his stomach, giving the impression that he was physically struggling.
 
When he went to his bench during the first game of the second set, it seemed as though he may give up, but the world number 14 was able to complete the match.
 
Norrie, who is 27 years old, won the competition in 2022 and advanced to the final in 2021.
 
"I played one of the best matches of the season," said 24-year-old Cerundolo.
 
"I'm super happy because it was a tough match. Cam is a great player, but I played amazingly and I'm happy to be in the final."
 
However, the Briton dropped serve in the first game against 28th-ranked Cerundolo and never seemed to be able to get back into the match.
