At French Open 2023, Elena Rybakina defeats Linda Noskova

Elena Rybakina, the Wimbledon winner, demonstrated why she is one of the favourites for the French Open with a commanding victory against young Czech sensation Linda Noskova.
On the clay courts of Paris, Kazakhstan's Rybakina defeated the 18-year-old 6-3, 6-3 to go to the third round.
The Italian Open championship Rybakina, 23, won last week demonstrated her talent on the red dirt; this was her seventh consecutive triumph on the surface.
In the round of 32, the fourth seed will face Sara Sorribes Tormo of Spain.
Along with Iga Swiatek of Poland and Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, Rybakina is one of the WTA Tour's up-and-coming "big three" players. The trio has combined to win the last four Grand Slam tournaments.
They are the top players on the WTA Tour this year, despite the fact that the Kazakh, who did not receive points for winning Wimbledon in 2017, is still ranked fourth in the 52-week rankings, behind American Jessica Pegula.
While Rybakina lost to Sabalenka in the Australian Open final in January, she proved with her victory against Noskova that she has the potential to advance at Roland Garros.
She reached the quarterfinals in 2021, which was her best result.
