Andy Murray handed difficult Bordeaux challenger draw as Rafael Nadal turns down wild card

As he continues to compete on the ATP Challenger Tour in order to get ready for the French Open, Andy Murray has been dealt a challenging draw.
Murray, who turned 36 on May 15, broke his four-year championship drought earlier this month by winning a Challenger competition in Aix-en-Provence.
He failed to maintain the momentum, though, as Fabio Fognini defeated him in his opening encounter at the Italian Open.
He is presently playing the BNP Paribas Primrose in Bordeaux on the lower-level Challenger Tour in an effort to gain more experience on clay and maybe gain more ranking points in time for the French Open.
Following his victory in Aix-en-Provence, Murray rose to No. 42 in the world, and if he has another successful week, he may be in the running to receive a seeding for the French Open.
However, Murray may have a difficult opening match in Bordeaux as he might meet fellow three-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka.
Wawrinka, who fell to Grigor Dimitrov in the second round in Rome, begins the match against a qualifier while Murray, who is seeded second at the tournament, sent home in the first round.
Murray may face No. 50 in the world Ugo Humbert if he defeats Wawrinka.
