U-15 Baseball European Championship 2023: Italy secures 7-6 victory in U-15 Baseball Group A match

On the first day of the preliminary round at the U-15 Baseball European Championship in Trnava, Slovakia, Italy secured a narrow victory over Germany in a crucial Group A matchup. The game was filled with excitement as both teams exchanged three-run frames early on, but Italy eventually came out on top with a 7-6 win.

In a game of former U-15 Baseball European Champions, Italy displayed their resilience by taking a 7-4 lead in the fourth inning and holding on to secure the victory, despite Germany's late attempt at a comeback.
 
Meanwhile, Czechia and France had an outstanding start to the tournament with lopsided victories. Czechia defeated Hungary 13-3, bouncing back after an early scare when Hungary took a 3-1 lead. However, Czechia quickly turned the tables with a dominant performance, including seven runs in the sixth inning.

France, on the other hand, showed no mercy to the host team Slovakia, scoring 14 runs in the first two innings to achieve a commanding 16-0 shutout.
 
On the second day of the competition, Italy will face Hungary in the opening game at 10:00, while Germany aims to rebound against Czechia in a crucial match for advancing to the semi-finals at 13:30. The Netherlands will enter the U-15 Baseball European Championship 2023 with a tough challenge against the strong starter France at 17:00.

The tournament promises to bring more thrilling matches and intense competition as the teams vie for victory and glory.
