Shane Lowry's team, The Bay, triumphed over Rory McIlroy's Boston Common Golf Club in the final match of Monday's Tomorrow's Golf League (TGL) triple-header in Florida. McIlroy, who co-hosts the indoor competition alongside Tiger Woods, was joined by Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley and former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, but his team fell to a 5-4 defeat. Wyndham Clark sealed the win for The Bay with a dramatic eagle on the final hole, marking their second victory of the day.
Earlier in the day, The Bay had defeated Atlanta Drive GC 6-5, taking control early by winning three of the first four holes. Atlanta Drive fought back, but a near-miss on a potential game-tying eagle putt by Justin Thomas prevented overtime.
This match followed Atlanta's win over Los Angeles in a similar 6-5 fashion, with Los Angeles' Tommy Fleetwood forcing an overtime with a clutch putt on the 14th. However, Thomas eventually outplayed Sahith Theegala to secure the victory.
The competition also included the nearest-the-pin challenge, which saw Patrick Cantlay's ball finish closer than Theegala's to clinch another point for his team. The series of matches showcased thrilling moments, with each team putting on a competitive performance.
Looking ahead, Tiger Woods will return to action for the first time since the passing of his mother, as his Jupiter Links Golf Club faces off against New York Golf Club on Wednesday.
