South Africa names Manie Libbok at fly-half for World Cup quarter-final against France

South Africa has chosen Manie Libbok as the fly-half for their upcoming World Cup quarter-final against the host nation, France, in Paris.
South Africa's lone loss in France occurred against Ireland, in which Libbok struggled with his kicking accuracy. Handre Pollard, who is known for his reliability, is now available after recovering from injury.
Although Pollard started in the Springboks' final Pool B match against Tonga, the decision has been made to have Libbok face France.
Cobus Reinach will partner with Libbok at scrum-half, a surprising choice.
Reinach will be replacing Faf de Klerk for the Sunday match. Head coach Jacques Nienaber believes that Reinach is better suited to handle France's style of play, especially their kicking game.
In a tactical shift, Nienaber has opted for a 5-3 split between forwards and backs, moving away from the previous selection of seven forwards on the bench used in the defeat against Ireland.
