Despite Wells’ best efforts, Murphy’s precision and decision-making allowed him to extend his lead even further. Wells struggled to maintain momentum, especially after missing several key pots. Murphy capitalized on these mistakes, making a break of 133, which brought him within one frame of victory. Wells, while still behind, showed resilience and managed to put together a decent break, but it wasn’t enough to stop Murphy’s charge.

Zhang’s match against Pang has also seen some back-and-forth action. After an early mistake, Pang managed to reduce the gap with a fantastic clearance of 111, but Zhang’s response kept him on top. With the scoreline tight, both players will look to make their mark in the coming frames.
