The US Open champions displayed dominance with a 6-3, 6-4 win, marking their 10th successive victory at the tournament and becoming the first back-to-back champions since 2017. Salisbury, expressing his appreciation for the venue, highlighted the special significance of their success in Turin, emphasizing the positive feelings associated with playing well at a tournament.
Despite facing an early break point in their opening service game, Salisbury and Ram took control of the contest by securing a 3-1 advantage. In the second set, the sixth-seeded pair secured a crucial break for a 4-3 lead, ultimately winning the match without facing a single break point. Ram, who had dealt with an abdominal strain during the week, served out the match, securing victory after 69 minutes of play.
Salisbury expressed pride in the effort they put in on and off the court, emphasizing their love for playing at the ATP Finals. The efficient win marked a memorable achievement for the pair in Turin, where positive experiences and successful matches contributed to their special connection with the tournament.
