Offa Volleyball Team Coach, Ajeigbe Soba bags NVCA's `Excellence Awards'

Offa Volleyball Team Coach, Suleiman Olayinka Ajeigbe, has expressed his delight over the Award of Excellence given to him by the National Body of Nigeria Volleyball Coaches Association (NVCA).

The award was given to him for his contributions towards the development of volleyball in the country, at the just-concluded Annual General Meeting/Dinner Night at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

Coach Ajeigbe, who is also the current coach of the National U-17 Volleyball team, said he is grateful for the special and worthy recognition from the NVCA.

Olayinka Ajeigbe dedicated the award to every proud mother and father who released their wards for training and engagement in the game of volleyball.

Coach Soba, as he is fondly called, said that it would not have been possible without the support of the parents who released their wards for the game.

He appreciated the players for their doings, praising them for being a special gift to him, and promised that he will always do his best for them.

Coach Soba also ensured success for the players in their chosen sporting career and academic pursuits.

He thanked Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasak for his fatherly role and unwavering support to the team, both in cash and in kind.

He further thanked Chairman Kwara Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji, for his support to the team as well.

Coach Suleiman Olayinka Ajeigbe, however, prayed for parents and those who have contributed immensely, that God Almighty will provide them with long life and prosperity so they can enjoy every bit of their labor.
