The President of the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation, Dr. Ademola Are, will be supporting a fellow African team, the Springboks of South Africa, in the Rugby World Cup final against the All Blacks of New Zealand.
The President arrived in France upon the invitation of World Rugby ahead of the final between South Africa and New Zealand and has chosen the Springboks as his favorites to win the tournament.
Dr. Are expressed his thoughts before the final after watching England complete their Rugby World Cup campaign with a narrow victory over a proud Argentina team in the third-place play-off in Paris, with a score of 26-23.
He commended the organization of arguably the biggest sporting showcase in the world while showing his support for South Africa to defeat New Zealand in the final.
"I am supporting the Springboks without a doubt, but they have also been the most technically and tactically sound team at this tournament, regardless of how close their results have been in the quarter and semi-finals."
"The Springboks have demonstrated the indefatigable African spirit in the way they have conducted themselves throughout this tournament. I am rooting for them," he concluded.
The Rugby World Cup final between South Africa and New Zealand will take place in France.
