In his acceptance speech, Nimrod expressed his vision for beach volleyball, promising to elevate it to one of the premier sports on the continent.
"With our collective efforts and strategic planning, we can unlock this sport's immense potential."
Nimrod, who also serves as President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, took a moment to commend the leadership of CAVB, particularly Madam Bouchra Hajij, the Board of Administration; Engineer Habu Gumel, whom he referred to as the father of volleyball in Nigeria; and the President of CAVB Zone 3, Ali Yaro.
"I want to applaud the unwavering support and guidance from Madam Bouchra Hajij and Engineer Habu Gumel.
Their dedication to the sport has been instrumental in our progress, and I look forward to working closely with them to promote beach volleyball across Africa.
“My appreciation would not be complete without recognizing the efforts of the President of CAVB Zone 3, Ali Yaro, for his support throughout the years.
“The commission will work closely with Madam Bouchra Hajij to ensure her dreams for beach volleyball on the continent become a reality,” he said.
