Nigeria's Volleyball Asst. Capt., Gana, joins FUS VC of Morocco

Posted : 09 January 2025

The Assistant Captain of Nigeria’s men’s senior volleyball team, Moses Gana, has signed a landmark contract with Faith Union Sports (FUS) Volleyball Club in Rabat, Morocco.

The transfer marks an exciting new chapter for the African Games player, who previously wore the colors of Kano Pillars VC.

Gana expressed his enthusiasm for this new journey, calling it an incredible opportunity to continue his growth as a professional player.

Gana is eager to bring his wealth of knowledge to the Moroccan club.

He said, “I am excited to sign with Faith Union Sports (FUS) Volleyball Club of Rabat, Morocco, for the 2025 volleyball season.

“I will bring my wealth of experience, gathered over the years, to propel the club to greatness with the assistance of my teammates.

“FUS VC is one of the biggest volleyball clubs in Morocco, and retaining the league title with the club this season is my number one priority.”

Gana said he is determined to help FUS VC improve in the prestigious 2025 African Club Championship.

“Hopefully, the team will retain their title in the Moroccan league and improve their performance at the 2025 African Club Championship.

“I watched the match the team lost to Kenya Prison VC in the quarterfinals of the 2024 African Men’s Club Championship. I am confident that the same will not happen if we meet again.”

Gana said the move is more than just a transfer; it is an opportunity to leave a lasting impact at the club.
