Nigeria’s Junior Female Yellow Greens have continued their preparations ahead of the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia, where they aim to compete and make the nation proud.
The team qualified for the global tournament by winning the Africa Qualifier Division 1 title in Kigali, Rwanda, in September. They will be hoping to make history in Malaysia, where the World Cup will be hosted from January 18 to February 2, 2025.
According to the NCF, prior to the tournament, the team will play two warm-up matches against Pakistan and Scotland on January 13 and January 15, respectively.
They will then begin their journey at the World Cup by facing Samoa on January 18, followed by matches against New Zealand on January 20 and South Africa on January 22.
