A 43-man preliminary squad of Nigeria Rugby players will begin training on Dec. 10 in preparation for the 2024 Africa Cup 15s (Repechage) tournament, scheduled to take place in Tunisia next month.
According to the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF), the inclusion of a large squad aims to provide homegrown players with opportunities to gain experience in a top-level tournament.

Returning to the squad is Onoru-Oyiza Jatto of Cowrie RFC, Lagos, who missed out on previous sevens tournaments.
The invited list features 29 players from the domestic league and 14 foreign-based professionals.
Following the training camp in Abuja, the selected players are expected to depart for Tunisia on Dec. 15 for the tournament, which runs from Dec. 16 to 23.
