Newcastle Falcons triumphed 66-13 over Championship side Caldy, securing second place in Pool B with four wins out of five matches. Although they couldn't qualify for the semi-finals due to Leicester Tigers topping the group, the Falcons finished the tournament strongly with 10 tries, including two from Iwan Stephens and a brace from Ollie Fletcher.
In another match, Northampton Saints dominated Doncaster Knights with a staggering 82-12 victory. They too finished second in their group and couldn't make it to the semi-finals. The Saints scored 12 tries, including a hat-trick by Archie McParland and first-half braces from Tom Pearson and George Furbank.
Despite their impressive victories, Newcastle Falcons and Northampton Saints fell short of the semi-finals, with Gloucester Rugby, Leicester Tigers, Exeter Chiefs, and Ealing Trailfinders topping their respective groups and advancing to the next stage of the competition.
