Memorial Tournament: After the second round in Ohio, Rory McIlroy is back in the race

At the Memorial Tournament, Rory McIlroy fired a second-round four-under-par 68 to regain the lead.
The Northern Irishman finished at four under overall in Ohio, making six birdies and two bogeys. His second-round performance was boosted by a birdie-birdie finish.
After shooting a six-under 66 to reach eight under for the competition, American Justin Suh is in the lead at the halfway point.
Hideki Matsuyama, the 2021 Masters winner from Japan, shot a seven-under 65 to go one stroke back at seven under.
Additionally, American Xander Schauffele had a strong second round, recording seven birdies and just one bogey (on his first hole) to sign for a six-under 66 and move to one under overall.
Along with the American Jordan Spieth, European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald sits at three under par overall. Tyrrell Hatton and Matt Fitzpatrick, two other Englishmen who made the cut, will also play in the last two rounds.
Fitzpatrick, who won his first major championship at the US Open in 2017, had a four-under 68 to tie for par, while Hatton sits at two under following back-to-back 71s.
