England's Matt Wallace clinched the European Masters title at Crans-Montana on Sunday, emerging victorious over Alfredo Garcia-Heredia in a play-off. Despite leading by four shots going into the final round, Wallace shot a 70, allowing both players to finish tied at 11 under par.
In the play-off, Wallace secured the win at the first sudden-death hole, the par-four 18th, with a decisive birdie. This victory marks Wallace's first win on the DP World Tour since his triumph in Denmark six years ago.
English golfer Andrew Johnston finished in third place, one shot behind the play-off contenders. Swiss golfer Cedric Gugler and Australian Jason Scrivener rounded out the top five, tying for fourth place, two shots off the lead.
