Iron Heads Golf Club Signs Korean Tour No. 1 Yubin Jang for 2025 Season

LIV Golf has yet to secure any high-profile players from the PGA Tour ahead of the 2025 season, but the Iron Heads Golf Club made a notable move by signing Yubin Jang, the No. 1 golfer on the Korean Tour. At just 22 years old, Jang joins Captain Kevin Na’s team, which also retained Danny Lee and Jinichiro Kozuma. Jang's impressive record includes three victories on the Korean Tour, and he topped the tour’s money list last season while also recording the most top-10 finishes.

 

Na expressed excitement about Jang's potential, stating that he had been closely following the young golfer's progress and felt his addition would bring much-needed talent to the Iron Heads. Na believes Jang has the potential to become a world-class golfer and sees his signing as an inspiration for young Korean golfers looking to compete internationally. With a LIV Golf event scheduled in Korea this year, Na views Jang’s presence as a major boost for the team, especially as they aim to elevate Korean golf.

 

The Iron Heads are preparing for the upcoming season with their 2025 roster now finalized, including key re-signings of Danny Lee and Jinichiro Kozuma. The team is set to begin training in Palm Springs, California, ahead of the season opener in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in February. General Manager Martin Kim expressed his confidence in the team's new lineup, highlighting the impact of both veteran players and Jang’s youthful energy as they strive to be more competitive in the upcoming season.
