Ilorin set to host Monimak Junior Club Baseball and Softball Championship

The stage is now set for the Monimak Junior Club Baseball and Softball Championship, scheduled to take place from June 14th to 16th, 2024, at the Adewole Baseball Park in Ilorin, Kwara State.


The organizers of the maiden event on Friday said that seven registered clubs have been unveiled to compete in the highly anticipated tournament.


The participating teams are:


1. Baseball Tomorrow Academy
2. Revelation
3. Double T
4. Gold Heart
5. Lubcon
6. Monimak Progress
7. Sliders


The draws, which will determine the opponents for each team, will take place on June 13th, 2024.


The championship promises to be an exciting display of baseball and softball skills, with each team showcasing its unique style and strategy.


Adewole Baseball Park in Ilorin, Kwara State, will play host to the three-day championship, providing a world-class facility for the young players to showcase their talents.


The tournament will be a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication, promoting the development of baseball and softball among youth in Nigeria.
