The president of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Samuel Ocheho, has congratulated Coach Rafiu Salami, the head coach of Nigeria's men's senior handball team, also known as the Golden Arrows, after he obtained his IHF License A coaching license.
Ocheho noted the influence of Coach Rafiu Salami on the growth of handball in Nigeria and on the national teams, which saw the Golden Arrows win bronze earlier this year at the All Africa Games in Cairo, Egypt.

The HFN president believes this new achievement will enhance the profile of Coach Rafiu Salami and further the growth of handball in Nigeria, especially within the national teams.
"I am very excited about this achievement by our senior national team manager, Coach Rafiu Salami, as he receives his IHF Coaching License A certificate," Ocheho said.
"This accomplishment will elevate his profile as one of the top coaches among the leading handball nations in the world and will also contribute to the continued growth of our sport, particularly in the national team," he added.
Ocheho emphasized that HFN will continue to support coaches who strive for excellence, while also mentioning notable Nigerian coaches who have received various categories of IHF coaching licenses in the past year.
On behalf of the HFN board and the Nigerian handball community, Mr. Ocheho extends his regards to Coach Rafiu Salami.
