Former President Muhammadu Buhari storm’s Buhari 2023 Polo Cup tournament in Katsina

The former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, joined a large gathering of polo enthusiasts at the 2023 Buhari Cup held at the Katsina Polo Ground.
 
In addition to gracing the VIP stands with his presence, the former president also participated in the prize presentation ceremony for the winners of the tournament.
 
Buhari, showing his passion for the sport, later moved to the fan stands to watch the exciting match between Max Air and Kangiwa, which ended in a thrilling 5-5 draw.
 
Among the esteemed dignitaries present at this prestigious event were Farouk Jobe, the Deputy Governor of Katsina State; Rt. Hon Nasir Yahya Daura, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly; Abduljalal Haruna Runka, the Deputy Speaker; HRH Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk Umar; Nigeria's former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and many others.
