France's Celine Boutier is on the brink of securing her first major championship after an impressive four-under-par 67 in the third round of the Evian Championship.
Boutier, 29, currently stands at 11-under, holding a three-stroke lead over Japan's Nasa Hataoka as they head into the final day on Sunday.
New Zealand's Minjee Lee and Canada's Brooke Henderson are not far behind, trailing by just one shot and tied in third place.
Meanwhile, America's Nelly Korda made a strong move in the right direction with a superb seven-under-par 64, positioning herself well within contention at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
Japan's Yuka Saso, who started the day in joint second place, had a tougher round, shooting a 71 and falling five strokes behind Boutier, currently tied at six-under with Nelly Korda.
Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit, who was also in joint second after two rounds, struggled on the third day and dropped to 14th place after recording a three-over-par 74.
On the other hand, Republic of Ireland's Leona Maguire made a significant move with a four-under-par 67, bringing her level with Tavatanakit at three-under.
Scotland's Gemma Dryburgh had a solid round of 69, securing her ninth spot at four-under overall going into the final day.
England's Georgia Hall displayed an impressive performance with a 68, bringing her to one-under overall, while her compatriot Jodi Ewart Shadoff's two-under round was not enough to avoid missing the cut.
