COAS Shooters have been crowned champions of the 2024 National Division 1 Handball League in the men's category.
COAS Shooters beat Osun United 21 to 16 goals in the final of the men's category played at the indoor sports hall of Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

He said, “I want to thank God Almighty for using the coaches as vessels to handle the COAS Shooters. Winning Division 1 and, most importantly, qualifying for next season's Ardova Handball Premier League is a big deal."
Special thanks to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, for his support to the team through the Chief of Training Army. Director of Physical Training Army, Brigadier General Abdulraheem Bello, hailed the team for bringing glory to the Army.
