The Gary Player International Golfer of the Year Award, created in partnership with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and FlightScope, recognizes outstanding international collegiate golfers from outside the United States. Each year, the award is given to five exceptional athletes across various NCAA divisions, including Divisions I, II, and III, as well as NAIA and NJCAA levels.
Lamprecht, who has made a significant impact in NCAA Division I golf, is the inaugural winner of this distinguished award. This recognition aims to highlight future golf stars and provides a pathway for them to compete in events like the Nedbank Golf Challenge and professional tours.
