English golfer Charley Hull is optimistic that a change in her fitness routine will boost her chances of winning her first major golf title. The 27-year-old, who has been a runner-up in three of the five majors since turning professional, has focused on strengthening her arms to address specific aspects of her swing.
Hull, ranked eighth in the world, has been working on her fitness during the off-season and aims to improve her performance with enhanced arm strength. She returns to action at the Saudi Ladies International event and is content with her season's progress, eyeing another Solheim Cup appearance in September.
Charley Hull, diagnosed with severe attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) last year, has had a successful career, representing Europe six times against the United States in the Solheim Cup. Despite being diagnosed with ADHD, she made an impressive comeback last year, finishing joint second at the US Open and being tied for the lead after three rounds of the Open at Walton Heath.
Hull is currently ranked eighth in the world and is eager to continue her success in the upcoming tournaments, including the Saudi Ladies International event in Riyadh.
As part of her preparation for the return to tournament action, Hull spent time coaching three competition winners from the Shires Junior Golf Tour. Hull emphasized her commitment to supporting junior golfers, sharing tips and encouraging them to enjoy the game.
The junior players expressed their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to play with one of the world's best golfers. Hull's coaching session aimed to inspire young golfers and provide valuable insights to help them improve their skills on the course.
