Keegan Bradley secured a triumphant victory at the BMW Championship, riding a wave of patriotic cheers to shoot an even-par 72 in the final round, finishing at 12-under-par 276 at Castle Pines Golf Club. This win marks a significant comeback for Bradley, who was recently named the 2025 US Ryder Cup captain and entered the tournament as the last man in the field. His victory positions him fourth at 6-under for the upcoming Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club, where a staggered start format will be used.
Throughout the tournament, Bradley was buoyed by the support of the crowd, who cheered him on with chants of "Let's go captain" and "U-S-A." He secured his lead on the 10th hole, where a par broke a tie with Australian Adam Scott, who faltered with a three-putt bogey on the course's most challenging hole. Despite a less-than-stellar performance by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who tied for 33rd, he will still enter East Lake as the top seed, starting at 10-under par.
Sam Burns delivered an impressive final round, shooting a 7-under-par 65 to finish tied for second with Scott and Sweden's Ludvig Aberg at 11-under 277. Burns's round was highlighted by eight birdies, although a bogey on the 14th hole briefly slowed his momentum. Nevertheless, he bounced back with consecutive birdies on the 16th and 17th holes, securing his spot at ninth in the FedEx Cup standings for the Tour Championship.
Other notable performances included Australian Cam Davis, who led the field with 24 birdies and tied for fifth at 8-under 280, alongside England's Tommy Fleetwood, who moved into the Tour Championship standings with his strong finish. Chris Kirk also played his way into the East Lake tournament, rising from 32nd to 26th after tying for ninth with Sweden's Alex Noren.
