Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 Phase 2: Kano Pillars earn first victory

Kano Pillars secured their first victory in the second phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 by defeating Benue Buffaloes in the men's category on Friday.
The defending champions, who have struggled this season, returned to winning ways with a comfortable 33-24 victory over Benue Buffaloes. Meanwhile, Tojemarine Academy of Lagos continued their good form, defeating Correction Boys 29-22.
Seasider Boys of Lagos faced challenges but managed to defeat Confluence Stars 24-22, while Safety Shooters eased past Police Machine with a 29-19 win.
League leaders Niger United had a dominant 36-17 victory over Bendel Dynamos, and D. Defenders secured a crucial 25-22 win against Rima Strikers.
In the female category, defending champions Safety Babes remained unbeaten this season, defeating Seasider Babes of Lagos 36-24. Plateau Peacocks narrowly beat Defender Babes 21-20.
Bendel Dynamos triumphed over Bayelsa Queens with a score of 30-24, and Rima Queens had the most significant win on matchday 3, securing a comfortable 42-28 victory over Benue Queens.
Delta Queens surprised Imo Grasshoppers with a 29-26 victory.
